Learn

The Four-Step Process

In order to perform well, you should learn the music, practice it, warm-up before performing, and finally show off all of your hard work and dedication by doing your very best. Although individually these might seem like manageable tasks, putting them together is the key to being successful. Learning the music is crucial in order to be confident while performing. If you do not know the music, then it will be very hard to play the music to the best of your ability. Practicing the music is another fundamental part of decreasing stage anxiety. Through practice, you will learn the music better and will also grow as a musician. But before you can learn the music or start practicing, you must warm-up. By getting your voice or your instrument ready, you will be able to practice and perform with much more ease. Additionally, warming-up can help reduce nerves before going up on stage because you might feel more prepared for the performance. Finally, knowing how to perform your best is knowing what to do right before you go up on stage.
